Lodging in Franklin

Most travelers reach Franklin via Interstate 65 these days. Snowbirds traveling from Chicago to Florida or vice versa, like to rest up in Franklin either before or after tackling the Nashville traffic. Franklin's eight motels boast over 400 rooms. Six of the properties are affiliated with national motel chains; most were built in the last decade, and the newness still hasn't worn off. Rates are competitive, guests can feel safe and comfortable, and amenities like an interior corridor, Jacuzzis, fitness equipment and complimentary Continental breakfasts are available.

Downtown Franklin has the College Street Inn bed and Breakfast, a lovely Queen Anne-style home on a quiet tree-lined street. If you are more of the camping type, Franklin KOA at Exit 6 has full hook-ups, showers, and a store for those traveling by RV. There are also cabins available.
